A place to arrive and enjoy the view

Hotel Montjola Nova

Your retreat, set above the Montafon

High above Schruns, on the Montjola — often called the sun terrace of the Montafon — Hotel Montjola Nova welcomes you with far-reaching views and the reassuring sense of having arrived.

The peaceful setting overlooking the valley is paired with easy access to the village: the centre of Schruns is just a five-minute walk away. The ski bus and walking bus stop directly outside the hotel, taking you comfortably to the mountain lifts or to the most beautiful starting points for your activities — in both summer and winter.

Our 22 individually designed rooms and suites offer a quiet place to retreat, all with a south-facing balcony or terrace. Comfort, subtle elegance and open views are paired with the genuine warmth of a family-run hotel.

From the Finnish sauna and the BergePLUS programme to complimentary parking, much is already included at Hotel Montjola Nova — leaving you free to enjoy your time away without concern for the details.

The day begins with a varied breakfast featuring regional specialities. In the evening, a five-course menu with salad buffet is served — thoughtfully composed, varied and rooted in regional flavours.

Winter in the Montafon

When the mountains are wrapped in snow, a winter landscape opens up for skiers, snowboarders and those who simply enjoy the season. The ski bus stop directly outside the hotel takes you to the Hochjochbahn or the Zamangbahn. Those who prefer a quieter pace can set out on winter walking routes and snowshoe paths that begin right at the doorstep.

Summer in the Montafon

With alpine meadows in bloom, clear mountain lakes and distinctive peaks, summer in the Montafon is both invigorating and restorative. Whether walking, heading for the summits, cycling or golfing, the range of experiences mirrors the richness of the landscape.

Host Carmen Meßmer and her team are very much looking forward to welcoming you to this jewel of the Montafon — for days shaped by calm, enjoyment and a close connection to nature.
