The ski areas at a glance

Silvretta Montafon

The largest ski area in Vorarlberg, offering challenging pistes, long descents and modern lift systems. Ideal for those who appreciate scale, variety and a more sporting approach to skiing.

Golm

A family-friendly and leisurely ski area with varied runs and a close-to-nature atmosphere. In addition to the pistes, you’ll also find a toboggan run and dedicated offers for children.

Gargellen

High-altitude, snow-sure and something of a hidden gem for deep-snow enthusiasts. Perfect for skiers and snowboarders looking for quiet slopes and uncrowded runs.

Kristberg

Small, charming and ideal for those who ski for pleasure — a place to enjoy skiing in an unspoilt, traditional setting.

Further ski areas

Other special areas, such as the Silvretta-Bielerhöhe or the ski area of Brand included in the WildPass, round off the offer with distinctive niche experiences.

Infrastructure & accessibility

The ski bus stops directly in front of Hotel Montjola Nova, taking you to the valley station of the Hochjochbahn in just a few minutes — your gateway to the largest ski area in the region. Guests arriving by car will find generous parking facilities at all valley stations.

Public transport in the Montafon is equally convenient: trains and buses connect the various ski areas comfortably and sustainably.

Snowboarding in the Montafon

Snowboarders will find a wide range of terrain in the Montafon, from well-designed parks to rewarding freeride areas. Silvretta Montafon in particular offers excellent conditions with its snow park and freeride routes. Deep-snow slopes and fun parks deliver plenty of action, while wide pistes make carving a real pleasure.

Ski passes & WildPass

All ski areas in the Montafon are covered by the Montafon Brandnertal WildPass. Thanks to a dynamic pricing model, prices vary depending on when you book — those who purchase their ski passes early can benefit from particularly attractive rates.
